In Köln ansässig arbeite ich seit 2008 deutschlandweit und international als freie Fotografin vor allem für Magazine, NGOs und Fernsehproduktionen. Ich fotografiere Menschen, um ihre Geschichten zu erzählen und ihre Persönlichkeit zu zeigen. Mein Anspruch bei meinen Reportagen ist es, dokumentarisch wahr, emotional eindrücklich und ästhetisch klar und zeitlos zu sein. Ob Reportage oder Porträtfotografie, meine Bildsprache entwickle ich aus der Verbindung zu den Menschen und den Wünschen meiner Kund:innen. Ob vorab ausgearbeitetes Konzept oder situativ entwickelte Bildidee – mein Ziel ist immer, aus den individuellen Vorgaben etwas Einzigartiges zu machen.

2023 habe ich das Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) bei Global Risk Advice absolviert. Außer meiner Muttersprache Deutsch spreche ich fließend Englisch und einfaches Französisch. Kulturelle Sensibilität und respektvoller Umgang mit allen Menschen sind für mich selbstverständlich.

I have been working as a freelance photographer based in Cologne since 2008. I mainly work for magazines, NGOs and TV productions in Germany as well as internationally. I photograph people to tell their stories and to show their personality. My documentary photography aims to capture accurate and emotional images, that are both aesthetically clear and timeless. Be it documentary or portrait photography, I develop my visual language through my connection with the people I photograph and the wishes of my clients. Whether it is a pre-developed concept or a spur-of-the-moment idea, my aim is to always turn individual specifications into something unique.

In 2023, I completed the Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) at Global Risk Advice. In addition to my native German, I speak fluent English and basic French. It goes without saying that I am culturally sensitive and treat all people with respect.
